When you make your booking you are entering an agreement with us. Please read our terms and conditions of booking below.
For all bookings we require a deposit of the first night’s stay (€65 per room). The balance is due on arrival at the latest. It may be more convenient for you to transfer or pay before if using cards or PayPal. We accept the following forms of payment: PayPal, debit card or credit card via PayPal, cash, cheques in local currency (Euros). Please note that we cannot take card payments over the counter.
Prices are per room per night and include continental breakfast and all taxes. Prices will be confirmed to you with your booking.
Cancellation and Insurance
Once you have booked your stay, our agreement is a legal contract and any deposit you may have paid is non-refundable. If you need to cancel for any reason please contact us immediately. For cancellations made up to 2 weeks before your booking you will not be liable for the total balance. For cancellations made after this time or by failing to take up the booking without cancelling you will be liable for the total amount.
We recommend that you take out holiday insurance when travelling from the UK AND that you carry a European Health Insurance Card – this is free and available at http://www.nhs.uk/NHSEngland/Healthcareabroad/EHIC/Pages/about-the-ehic.aspx
We would only cancel your booking if your accommodation was unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would attempt to offer you alternative accommodation, however if this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.
Your room will normally be available from 3pm on the day of arrival. If you would like to arrive earlier please contact us.
Daily housekeeping in your room. Supplies will be replenished at the same time.
We ask that you vacate your room by 11am on the day of departure unless otherwise arranged.
Room keys must be returned on departure. A €10 surcharge will be levied for a lost key.
There is free parking at the rear of the property by the church and also in the square (Champ de Foire) – 1 minute walk. Additional parking is available nearby. You are welcome to drop any luggage off first.
You are free to come and go at your leisure.
There is a step into the hallway and into our ground floor room. There are stairs leading up to our first floor room – mostly with a handrail.
The building is not suitable for wheelchairs.
We shall not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under our contract with you that is caused by events outside our reasonable control (such as serious damage to our premises, serious adverse weather conditions, a pandemic or epidemic, or interruption or failure of utility services such as electric power, gas or water).
We do not accept liability for damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.
Damages and Breakages
Please remember that this is a B&B (not a hotel) and as such is our home. Please take care when staying with us. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you or any member of your party cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we reserve the right to make a charge for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant.
If problems arise during your stay, please notify us immediately so these can be resolved effectively and efficiently.
Guests are expected to be considerate of others by keeping noise to a minimum generally and especially at night. Televisions and music must be at acceptably lower levels after 10pm. Guests entering and leaving the property late night and early morning and using the common areas should do so quietly.
We reserve the right to terminate, without notice, an individual’s stay, where deemed necessary, through unacceptable behaviour, or as a result of actions which are likely to offend others.
Smoking is not permitted on any part of the premises. All our rooms are fitted with smoke detectors.
Sorry, pets are not permitted.
If an item is left behind, we will make every reasonable effort to locate the owner to arrange the return. If the item is not reclaimed within 3 months of the guest’s departure, it will be disposed of. A charge is made to return items.
La Cour respects the privacy of every individual who visits us. The data collected about you will be used to firstly fulfill any service you might request, e.g. to request information, make a booking etc. and secondly to improve our service. We will under no circumstances give your personal data to third parties. However, unless you specifically ask us not to we will use your data to send you further information.
Our right to vary our Terms & Conditions
We reserve the right to change the Terms & Conditions at any time without notice. These updated Terms & Conditions will be published on our website.
